Management

Board of Management

The Board of Management is the Academic and Executive Body for the governance of the Institute. It comprises of following ex-officio and appointed members.

1. The Director
2. The Secretary to the Ministry of the Minister in-charge of the subject of Higher Education or the nominee of such Secretary
3. The Secretary to the Ministry of the Minister in-charge of the subject of Cultural Affairs or the nominee of such Secretary
4. Two Vice-Chancellors nominated by the Committee of Vice - Chancellors and Directors established under Section 124 of the Act
5. The Head of the Department of Archaeology of the University of Peradeniya
6. The Head of the Department of Archaeology of the University of Kelaniya
7. The Commissioner of Archaeology
8. The Director General of the Central Cultural Fund
9. The Director of National Museums
10. Seven Members appointed by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka
